Puntarenas & Cruise Ship Port
Directions from Puntarenas Cruise Ship Port or Puerto Caldera (Approx. 45 min)
If you are arriving at the Puntarenas Cruise Ship Port or at Puerto Caldera, you have two convenient options:
- Book a roundtrip transfer with us (Highly Recommended): We will pick you up directly at the pier and guarantee a stress-free, on-time return to your ship.
- Take a taxi: Cabs are readily available directly from the port for the quick 45-minute drive.

Exit the port and take the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) east. At Cuatro Cruces (Miramar’s entrance), turn right at the Delta Gas Station. From there, drive exactly 12 km uphill to Tajo Alto. Adventure Park & Hotel Vista Golfo will welcome you on the left-hand side!

San José:
San Jose: You have two scenic options when coming from Costa Rica’s Capital (Highway 1 or 27).
Directions from San José (Approx. 1h 30 min)
- Take the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) or Route 27 towards Puntarenas.
- At Cuatro Cruces (Miramar), turn right at the Delta Gas Station.
- Enjoy the beautiful 12 km drive uphill to Tajo Alto – Adventure Park & Hotel Vista Golfo will be waiting on your left.

Jacó
Directions from Jacó (Approx. 1h 15 min)
- Drive north towards Puntarenas and join the Pan-American Highway eastbound.
- At Cuatro Cruces (Miramar), turn right at the Delta Gas Station.
- Drive 12 km uphill to Tajo Alto.

Liberia & Guanacaste
Directions from Liberia (Approx. 1h 45 to 3h)
- Take the Pan-American Highway south towards Puntarenas.
- At Cuatro Cruces (Miramar), turn left at the Delta Gas Station.
- Drive 12 km uphill to Tajo Alto.

Directions from Arenal to our park in Miramar de Puntarenas
If you are traveling from Arenal/La Fortuna, take Route 702 through San Ramón, then follow the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) towards Puntarenas.
At Cuatro Cruces (Miramar), turn right at the Delta Gas Station and drive 12 km uphill to Tajo Alto.

Please note: While we share the beautiful Costa Rican rainforest atmosphere, our park is located in Miramar de Puntarenas, not in La Fortuna. Please plan enough travel time for your adventure!
Traveling by Bus:
Buses coming directly from San José to Miramar are called “Autotransportes Miramar”. They depart from “Antigua Parada de Puntarenas” in Barrio Mexico. Current schedules are at 7:00 am, 12:30 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:30 pm. Once you arrive in Miramar, simply take a local taxi for the short ride up to Adventure Park Hotel Vista Golfo.
Buses coming directly from Puntarenas to Miramar are called Transportes Montes de Oro. They depart every hour from Downtown Puntarenas (50 meters north form “El Pollazo”). Once in Miramar, a quick taxi ride will bring you right to our doorstep at Adventure Park Hotel Vista Golfo.
