Your Adventure from this area starts with an incredible drive crossing the surroundings of Carara National Park, one of the most beautiful spots of rain forest found in the central pacific area and a paradise for those who love bird watching. As you continue your trip to the most spectacular adventure in the pacific coast of our country, you´ll cross one of the most famous rivers in Costa Rica, the Tarcoles River meaning “Crocodile river” in native language, which is said to have more than 3.000 crocodiles living in it. Sometimes you will be able to see some reptiles, because reptiles need to take daily sunbaths to warm their blood, they will come to surface daily, giving you the opportunity to see them.

Further on the road you will pass the port of Caldera in the pacific ocean which is one of the oldest ports in Costa Rica The first exportations of Costa Rica took place here in 1590, You will also be able to see the petroleum refinery Recope, a Tuna packing plant, Sardimar: and finally you will pass by some sugar cane plantations on your way to our Adventure Park. Located in the mountains of Puntarenas, you will pass through Puntarenas and finally through Miramar, a very old town, which is famous for its gold mines. You will also be able to see the Gulf of Nicoya which is distinguished for its islands, including the exotic island, Tortuga.
